Mind you this is a post strictly for hallyu fans!!!!!(or else you won't know what am i rambling about here^^)

Ask anyone who is their favorite kpop girl group and i'm sure most will say SNSD (i'm sure it is 100% with the guys.. hehe) or other girl groups such as KARA, Rainbow etc which are just sooo bubbly@.@.... but here is a group which catches my attention, 2NE1 which stands for New Evolution 21st Century. They are in the same company with my favorite boy group, BIG BANG ,which makes me "heart" YG family even more:) What makes 2NE1 stands out among other girl groups is their unique and edgier style, together with their explosive and chart-topping songs. Recently, they have comeback with a new album and i'm seriously addicted to all songs:D

They started their promotion with LONELY not long ago. This song is just so full of daebakness and the song managed to stuck in my brain^^

After Lonely, they came out with I"M THE BEST. Thinking back, i actually hated this song when i listened to it at first, due to its loud and quite "brutal" for the ear music, but now i find it to be quite addictive with me singing along to its strong chant of nae ga cha la ga, which means "I"M THE BEST"^^

And now they are currently promoting UGLY. What makes me like this song so much is we can actually relate with the lyrics and sometimes, i do feel that way.....

And not forgetting, another song which sounds fun, HATE YOU. I actually think this song really sounds like an animation itself:)

That's all for sharing and what i can say is 2NE1 ROCKS!!!!! Their music are just so cool and i totally enjoyed watching all their live stage performances^^

A stupid mistake that causes me heartache

I'm back with a new post but it's not a happy one.. I have recently failed my driving test, all because of a really stupid mistake that i did!!!!!!!T.T I have actually passed all, including the road test, phew!!! That's the hardest to me because i'm scared of being screamed by the JPJ officer (due to bad experience during QTI last time), but thank God the JPJ officer was quite kind to me^^. It was at the penjuru tiga arah that causes my failure. I had done an extremely stupid mistake as i did not drive my car out of the yellow line and i just stopped after retreat. I felt sooooo damn sakit hati when thinking back, i failed the driving test just because i did not drive my car out further!!!!!! Damn.... To make it worse, the timing is all wrong as i can't repeat it within this month because there must be a 7 days gap to repeat and the next test is only 6 days apart (26/7) from my current test date, so i can only take the test back in August, hopefully prp hasn't start yet or else i'm sure gonna die from all the stresses at work+ driving test. And another bad news, there will be no tiang for parking starting next month and i have to learn new techniques for parking without tiangT.T....

Driving has never been an easy task for me, as it involves skills which i don't have (compared to theory in which i get perfect scores) and it had given me stress x1000 times for the past 3 months. I guess i did not inherit my dad's driving gene and i'm just not born to be a driver.. huhu..... I will have to pray hard and crossed my finger that i'll pass in the next test.....

PEARL OF BORNEO

Holiday started 2 weeks ago and i was kinda boring after living just 1 week of couch potato life at home. Human are just too weird, when there is busy life, we yearn for more carefree life but when holiday come, we wish for busyness to fulfill our time. So i decided to go to Labuan for a short honeymoon last saturday^.^...

I always enjoy going back to Labuan because there is where all my relatives are staying and i got the chance to visit all of them. But another reason that i go back to Labuan is because i missed the matriculation life back in KML. The matriculation life is the best year i ever had and i kind of miss my friends back then. So, on my first day at labuan, i went to stay with my sister at KML and attend the Malam Citrabudaya at Dewan Mutiara. Nothing changed much since i left KML 4 years ago, i even spotted Miss Soon who didn't changed much but she looked a bit ladylike wearing baju kurung on that night. Nobody caught me as "new" student there, haha, probably because i'm shorter and looked younger compared to my sister. However, looking younger than my sister always irritates me as people thought i'm the younger sister while my sister is older....Boo.... Hate it... (wish i can grow taller and lose the chubbyness....)

For those who haven't been to Labuan, Labuan is actually just a small island with long streaks of beaches (Can't upload the photos at the beach..... Haiz...), 1 shopping mall called UK (which stands for Ujana Kewangan), lots of cheap chocolate, beer and wine because it's duty free, tourist spots such as Botanical Garden, Bird Park, Marine Park, the Chimney, Japanese cemetery and Australian Memorial Park. So, you can imagine how boring life can be at Labuan and Labuan people (eg. my buddy Vannessa who also drove me around there, thanx Vann:)) usually go to KK by ferry to search for fun during holiday. Only KK people like me will go there to avoid the hustle bustle of city once in a while. Labuan is also famous for its ghost stories which never fail to scare me, until now some schools are also haunted by the unrest spirit, according to my aunt, due to its rich history of Japanese invasion in 1941.

Having spent 6 fun and relaxing days in Labuan, i'm now back to the couch potato life in KK. There are now 2 more weeks of holiday left before new sem starts and i'm sure to gain weight with the sedentary lifestyles at home:(......

MEETING NEW FACES AND SHAKING HAND WITH TUN MAHATHIR

Today is an event that is worth to be blogged about. My uncle suddenly called me last night and said he wanna meet me up with his family at KL. I was so nervous at first because i have never met them before as they stayed in KL while me and my family are staying at KK. But out of curiosity, i decided to go meet them up today.

So, early this morning, Shelly, his eldest daughter came together with my uncle and we went to have breakfast at one authentic coffee shop called Yuk Kee at Dang Wangi. Well, this is new for me and the food is awesome. We waited a while as there is a queue just to get a seat there. There is this "roti babi" and roasted pork with apple sauce that taste like heaven to me. Never thought this kind of old shop could serve such marvellous food.

After that, we went back to her home at Selayang and have a little chat and get to know of their family. Well, they are really nice and well-educated. I have fun getting to know jie Shelly, ko Ben, my uncle's other son, Kimi, jie Shelly's 11 years old daughter and my uncle's wife whom i have never met before.

Next, ko Ben suggested that we go to Tun Mahathir's Hari Raya open house at Seri Kembangan. So, we went there and turns out Tun's house is actually near the seven star Golden Horse Palace Hotel, which is our dream place to have our next senior year coursenight. The outside view of the hotel is soooo freakingly high class with 2 golden horses in front and it makes me really wanna have my course night there, but nope, the dream is not going to be realised..

We have to wait and take the charter bus at Golden Horse Palace Hotel because Tun's house is on top of a hill. Upon reaching there, we queueed up and sanitized our hand in order for us to shake hand with our beloved Tun and his wife. Tun Mahathir still looks healthy and strong. Their hands are so soft and Tun will actually look and smile at you, makes me flatter a bit that moment. Haha...Unfortunately we didin't bring a camera or else, we can capture the moment of meeting Tun Mahathir. Then, we eat until full at that open house. The food is ok, there are lemang, ketupat, curry, rendang, chicken and beef satay, pudding and all kinds of kuih-muih catered by GHPH. After that, they sent me home. This is a brand new experience for me and i'm considered a lucky girl to be able to shake hands with our beloved leader at my age:D.. Till then, have to concentrate back on my thesis...

Have i been taking things for granted lately? It's like i feel so comfortable in my current position that i started to lay back most of the time, while i'm supposed to be learning and catching up with my study. I feel studying is so tiring this few days, especially with the cancer topic. Sometimes i even feel stress for not working to the hardest compared to others in addition to the fact that i have neglected my thesis for a while because i just can't focus on two things at the same time. Going to a junior's room today makes me feel i'm such a lazy person while people are so eager and motivated in learning. I missed the old me back in matriculation terribly..... Motivation please come back to me....

I'M BAACK FOR INDUSTRIAL TRAINING....

It's been such a looooong time since the last time i sign in to this blogging world. It's not that i don't have any time, but it's all because everything happens so fast while busying with thesis and exam, and i have failed to keep track with my life. My third year ends in a blink of an eye and i will start my final 4th year beginning next semester. Life's going to be scarier and tougher from now on>.<..

Anyway, i'm now back to my sweet hometown for industrial training. I have chosen Sabah Medical Center for it and well, today just happen to be my first day at work.. There is only one pharmacist there named Ms. Fionna Oxley (her name sounds so "oxford" but she can speaks like a true local here..) who is friendly with people and i met other 6 pharmacist assistants who are responsible in filling the prescription and packing all the medications here. One special thing about the pharmacy in SMC is that it actually has a high pressure delivery tube where the doctors and specialists at other floors will place their prescription in a small container which can be flushed to the pharmacy department at ground floor. The pharmacist assistant will fill the prescription and place the medication together with the prescription inside the container which will be sent back to the doctors through the tube. It is so high tech and can help to save time as people basically don't move but only the medication which are moving.

Being a semi-private hospital, there aren't many patient in SMC like the government hospital. However, since Ms Fionna is the only pharmacist there, she's so busy dispensing medications from morning till evening, and didn't have much time for us. After a brief introduction in the morning, she just let us do anything we like on our own. This disappoint me as I thought since SMC is listed in the LI list, the pharmacist will know at least know what to teach us. So, me and Ray took the initiatives to learn the drugs name from A-Z in each shelves the whole morning. During the lunch hour in the afternoon, we go for "ward round" at other floors. Thank God Ray is with me and i'm not left alone hanging around there doing nothing... :) Unfortunately life will be like this starting from 8am until 5pm everyday and that really sucks. I'm so dead boring on my first day and from my previous record, i can't even stand more than 2 weeks working in a community pharmacy last time .. What i can say is God, please give me strength to survive for the next 6 weeks!!

CUTI-SUTI SABAH DURING CNY

This year's CNY is special because my family and I went for a holiday, not anyway far but here at our own Land Below the Wind. It's first time for us since we always spend the whole CNY at my grandparent's house in Menumbok each year. We were used to sit in my father's car for 2 hours++ journey back to Menumbok early morning on the first day of CNY, ever since I was born. This year round, it's still the same old routine, we went back to Menumbok for 4 days and 3 nights to meet my grandparents and all relatives , but we went cuti-cuti Sabah for 2 days after that. It's fun but tiring at the same time and I only stay at my home in KK for 1 day before going back to KL.

The journey to Mount Kinabalu took us about 2 hours from KK. Our first stop is National Park where we get to see the panoramic view of the majestic mountain. It's also the starting point for people who want to challenge the highest mountain in South East Asia. The climate there is really cold and unfortunately, that morning is quite foggy and so we didn't get to see the mountainL

Next, we went down to Kundasang where we visit the Kundasang War Memorial. It is build as a tribute to the memory of the 2,428 of brave Australians and British Prisoners of War who died in Sandakan, Ranau or on the Death Marches during World War II. I totally like this place because the landscape here is so beautiful, kinda feeling like I'm in another part of the world. The Memorial is made up of four beautiful gardens - the Australian Garden, the English Garden, the Borneo Garden and the Contemplation Garden and Pool which looks like Athens with all those pillars. The flowers grown in all the gardens are so pretty because they can grow well due to the cold climate in Kundasang.

Our last stop for the day is the Ranau Poring Hot Spring. We didn't bath there because we didn't bring any suitable attire and not only that, all the hot tub were occupied with people as now is the holiday season. So, my sister and I went for a short journey of 400m into the forest which leads us to a waterfall. The water here is so cold and refreshing compared to outside which is hot, you can even boil an egg with the hot water from the hot spring. There is also a canopy walkway into the jungle by jambatan gantung but we didn't try it because it's quite late. The walkway is 157.8 meters long and 41 meters high.We will definitely try it next time:)Then, we went to visit my mum's friend who stays at Ranau and after having dinner at her house, we went back to Zen's Garden Resort. The room is so cold and it feels like the room is air-conditioned although the fan is off. So, we bundled up ourselves with sweater when sleepingJ

The next day, we had breakfast in the resort and after checked out, we say goodbye to Mount Kinabalu and headed to a much hotter place. Our next destination is Tuaran where we went to visit a temple. My sister took a bunch of photos here. We even climbed the 8 storey pagoda to take a view of Tuaran, but it's nothing special.

Then, we went to the Crocodile Farm in Tuaran. I'm feeling geli most of the time and I screamed a lot because I just don't like the cold-blooded reptiles. My sister and I even get the scare of our life by a quiet crocodile which suddenly become violent in the water, just like in the Discovery Channel but this is much closer. (Darn that croc..)

Lastly, we went to visit the beautiful Rasa Ria and Karambunai resort nearby. Wish I am rich enough to spend a holiday in the resort xD..

Well, that's the end of my holiday and i'm now back to face the reality in KL. Seriously i haven't finish enjoy my holiday and thesis really makes me headache because i don't know how to start after such a long break. Wish i can have a carefree life with no worries....

THESIS HERE I COME

I finally got my thesis title today from my supervisor Dr. Shariza. The title is

KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE AND DISPENSING PRACTICE OF DISPENSING COUGH MEDICINES FROM COMMUNITY PHARMACIES IN SELANGOR

The title is not something that i can choose as we drawed the title, so it's basically base on luck. I'm quite happy with my title because it is at least something that i can cope with and i'm quite interested in it. I'm thinking this is maybe a sign for me because i'm also having cough and flu at this time. But there will also be some problems such as transportation as i have to go all the way to Selangor to do survey of the community pharmacies there regarding their dispensing practice. Wish me luck my thesis journey in 2010 will run smoothly and i can catch up with my study:)

BACK TO MY LIFE.....

After 1 month of honeymoon which only include eating, sleeping and various entertainments back in KK, i am now officially back to my life as a pharmacy undergraduate in UKM. sigh* After a month of wonderful and carefree life, of course i'm going to feel sad and wanting for more holidays. I'm gonna miss my family especially my sis, nobody is going to sing korean songs with you again... haha....

We started our class today in a new classroom, with brand new sound system, even with a wireless mike and a podium for the lecturer, thus the classroom looks like a smaller version of lecture hall. Actually i expect the first week to be relaxing with introduction to all subjects as the festive season and new year are just around the corner, but no, we were greeted with briefing regarding our research project after 2 hours class of toxicology. So, welcome to the thesis world and say hello to hectic and stressful life in 2010@.@ . *Cross my fingers* that i will get a good supervisor and a great thesis title but i'm still nervous listening to the briefing because thesis will determine if we can graduate successfully or not and also, we are now all alone to carry out the individual project. I just don't think i'm ready to do all things by myself, but hopefully everything will turn out to be OK.

The good thing of coming back to KL is that the line at Setapak here is much faster compared to the line back in my hometown. So, i'm just going to spend this week by downloading endless of youtube video to watch before my journey starts to become tougher.. hehe.. but the bad thing is i really really really want to watch the KBS Gayo Daejun (KBS Music Festival) on 30th December. The list of performances are impressive as it includes all the hit songs throughout the year, what a good way to countdown the new year by watching all the idol groups perform. I wish i can go back home on that day just to watch it.. haiz..

YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL

Just like the K-drama Boys Over Flower which had taken over like storm last time, this time it's the drama You're Beautiful which had me crazy over^.^. Well, the story is something like Boys Over Flower + Coffee Prince, and I like it because it depicts the life of a Korean idol group well just like how I watch it in TV, such as having to shoot MV, do commercial or CF, performance on stage, fan-meeting and so on…

The drama is about a girl living as a sister-in-training (played by Park Shin Hye) who has to disguise as her brother Go Mi Nam to join a popular idol group named A.N.Jell while her brother is away. It's so funny because she has to live like a boy and has to hide it from everyone, including the members of A.N.Jell. But I'm telling you, she sure is one lucky lady, with all the 3 male members liking her at the same time, making the relationship so complicated. (of course, this won't happen in real life…). Additionally, she finds herself being rivaled against Yoo He Yi (played by UEE from After School), an actress who also has feelings for one of the member.

So, the question for the ladies is, which one of the characters is your ideal guy? Would it be

The charismatic Hwang Tae Kyung (played by Jang Guen Suk) whose character is almost like Gu Jun Pyo in BOF. He's the arrogant type who always bullied Go Mi Nam but you know how K-drama is, sparks eventually flew between them. He's quite cool as he can pull off a variety of hair styles and not forgetting, the eye-liner as well (There is a fan who even compiled all his 100 hairstyles, amazing…. and gosh, sometimes he looks like G-Dragon to me or is it just my imagination?). I can't wait to see him again as he is the MC for Melon Music Awards on 16^th December ,*cross my fingers* that the award will be showing live in Astro and the YG family-Big Bang and 2NE1 will perform, I just can't get enough of them^.^

The kind, warm-hearted Kang Shin Woo (played by Jung Yong Hwa) who is also known as the second Ji Hoo sunbae in BOF (they even look alike to me….). He is the caring type who will always look after Go Mi Nam and help her when she is in trouble. He's just the kind of guy who the more you look at him, the more attractive and good-looking he'll become:)

The happy-go-lucky Jeremy (played by Lee Hong Ki) who will always bring smile and sunshine when he's around. He's so funny and aegyo (means cute) because he has funny imagination and still accept Go Mi Nam when he first like "him", even though he does not know Go Mi Nam is actually a girl. He will make Go Mi Nam happy when she's sad and he likes to throw chukka party every time xD

They are absolutely gorgeous, including the boyish Park Shin Hye!!

So ladies, make your choice now, and if you ask me which one is my favorite out of the following colours- lime, yellow and black, I will definitely answer BLACK…. (haha… watch the drama to know what I mean..)

Not only that, the OSTs are very nice!!!!!! Being the members of A.N.Jell, they all really can sing, and surprisingly even Park Shin Hye and Jang Guen Suk can sing really well, besides being able to act. Lee Hong Ki happens to be the member of F.T Island, so of course he can sing while the newcomer Jung Jong Hwa raps more in the song. I wish the group really exist but A.N.Jell is a legend now as they only exist in the drama..T.T Watch this mini concert by A.N.Jell for the final time....

Too bad the drama is so short, just 16 episodes and I finished it in 2 days (it's the downloading that took me weeks.. seriously). It's hard to believe that the drama ends so fast...so sad having to bid them farewell:(, wish there will be more drama like this in the future.

This week had been an occupied week as my house is packed with a string of guests since last friday. Well, they are none other than my relatives who came all the way from Labuan and Menumbok for their cuti-cuti Malaysia at KK. Having guests in my house always makes me feel slightly uncomfortable, because i do not get to do things that i normally do in holiday such as wake up at 11am (i'm a night owl..hehe), cozying upstairs in my room reading novel or playing computer, watching my favorite TV show or channel and so on... I have to tolerate all these things and entertain them some time (but most of the time it's my mum who did the job.... hoho)

The first to come was my uncle-my mum's brother and his family together with my grandparents. My uncle has a ten year old child who is sooooo hyperactive. I mean really really hyperactive and naughty as he seems cannot sit quietly and will kept disturbing things around the house. I had to play catching tennis ball with him every night to avoid him from distracting my sis who is currently in the middle of SPM exam. But it's not always bothersome, we had fun time too when we worked on a "project" together to assemble a model toy car complete with a motor. Frankly i had never assemble a car like this and, looking at those black and white draft paper to fit various parts of the car can be pretty confusing. Luckily i'm working with a smart kid but there is a small metal part which he broke earlier and since we do not know where to fit it, we just leave it and the product turns out quite decent. I didn't get to test the car to see if it can move or not because i couldn't find a battery. When my brother came back, i proudly told my bro what we have done and suddenly he saw that small metal part, turns out that part is very crucial and it should be fitted at the battery place, without it the car won't move at all...lol... But alas, i'm still succeeded in assembling the car but sadly, it will forever remain as a model..Huhu.. They went back first on Monday, leaving my grandparents who came to KK for medical check-up.

I met my grandparents twice in a year, which are during the school holiday when they come visit us and in CNY when we go back Menumbok to visit them. My grandmother is talkative and i like to talk with her because she can be funny sometimes with her use of words as she talks to me in Malay Brunei slang. My grandfather is no longer that strong and he always complained of dizziness and need a lot of rests. We brought them to places like Tanjung Aru beach to see the sunset. My sis took a break from her exam and also came to join us. My sis became the ultimate SS queen in that instant and i'm becoming the photographer slave for her.. lol.

My current obsession is BIG BANG with their new japanese song-Let Me Hear your Voice. I'm impressed by the vocal power of Tae Yang, Seung Ri and Dae Seung... The song is so beautiful and it kept playing again and again in my brain..Not forgetting G-Dragon and T.O.P(now chasing the drama IRIS with T.O.P--(the hottest assasin ever according to my sis) in it... ) who rap nicely.. I'm sooo like Tae Yang with his American Korean style right now=P..... Poor him in his new MV- Wedding Dress (can i marry him?....), also a nice song^.^...

Aloha~~~~~ I've leave this blogging world long enough but now i'm back^.^...... It's Hawaai honeymoon right now after 3 bloody exam weeeks ..... So many things are planned in my mind for the holiday but first, let me update my BIG 21ST BDAY on the last 13 October....

I'm back to KL, and seriously it's time to catch up with my study after 1 week of all play and no work back home at Sabah.....

Anyway, i'm still digging some time to update my blog...xD I'm thinking that i deserve some break too as it is mooncake festival and most of my friends either have went back to their hometown to eat gathering dinner or went to watch Pesta Tanglung at Bangi today. I have my own gathering dinner earlier to celebrate mooncake festival. Together with Carolyn, Clara, Fiona, Janice and my small buddy Sharon, we went to eat steamboat at Setapak (don't know the name of the shop...) yesterday. We ordered the tom yam and herbs soup and it's fun eating steamboat with so many people. When we finished eating, we are so full and satisfied with the food:) CTKL, i know you eat better and delicous food, save the soup for me.... haha)

Finally, wish everyone Happy Mooncake Festival but sadly there is no glimpse of a moon tonight.... wuwu....

If you know what i'm talking about, 2PM (singing again and again, and again and again~~~) is driving me crazy with their own show WILD BUNNY this few days^.^ The show is so hilarious as i get an in-sight peek of the real personality of each 2PM member off the stage in their daily life. What can i said is boys are naughty, but we girls like them:)

There is one episode that is so funny, in which Taecyeon, Woo Young and Chan Sung together with 2AM members-- Jong Kwon and Seu Long dance the parody version of the song "Abracadabra" by Brown Eyed Girls. They form a new group themselves called Dirty Eyed Girls. We laughed so hard seeing their dance movesXD.......

I used to like the handsome Thai Prince Nick Khun but now the beastic boy Taecyeon stole my attention#^.^#. Too bad group leader and also the dance machine Jae Beom is leaving, 2PM would no be the same again without him. Plz support 2PM leader, Jae Beom!!!!!!

Woohoo~~~~ Finally I can go back to my beloved hometown Sabah after 2 months of studying^.^ I'm the last one to go back among my friends as they all had go back yesterday. I spent the whole yesterday having movie marathon (5 movies non-stop--White Chick, Freaky Friday, Home Alone 2, Forrest Gump, Norbit) with PPS in my bedroom….Well, it was fun but boring at the same time without any soul in my room. So, I just can't wait to go home today!!!!!

I'm going back by Malaysia Airline (MAS) this time instead of the usual Air Asia because the tickets are sooo cheap, just RM198 back and forth. It's been a while since the last time I came to KLIA, that's when I came to West Malaysia with a few of my primary six schoolmates and teachers for a competition (how I miss the fun moment travelling with them as a kid…:) Travelling by MAS means one thing, I get to eat free lunch on the airplane, yippee…..(lolz) Hopefully the foods are delicious……

KLIA is so huge, there are 5 floors altogether compared to the Air Asia airport which only has 1 floor. So, I'm quite confused after reaching here by the airport coach (it's RM 10) and I basically just followed people until I went up to the fifith floor, where the departure hall is. Thank God I'm already safe and sound here, just waiting to board the airplanes. So while waiting for the check-in, I'm blogging here in KLIA by using the wireless... (hm..my stomach start grumble alrd....)

VISIT, VISIT AND VISIT..........................

Reading my title there gives a hint that i have many visits lately.. It's a busy life this sem with 1 visit to Agensi Nuklear Malaysia, 1 visit to Hospital Putrajaya and another visit to old folks home in Cheras Baru for my Pharmaceutical Project.

Don't get me wrong, but the visit to Agensi Nuklear Malaysia has nothing to do with making bomb. It is a good experience as i get to see the reactor used to generate a radiopharmaceutical product in reality, it's so huge, about the size of half of a room. However, it's not so fun because we wasted a lot of time in waiting for the other group, causing us to reach home late that night. Not only that, the visit is in the evening, which is the period i'm most unproductive, so it's like i'm wasting my time wandering there without any input. We also just get to visit 2 places instead of the originally planned 3 places. Only 1 group managed to visit all 3 places. So while waiting for the other group, what we do most of the time is "cam-whoring" and here are the results, so judge it yourself.....

My second visit to Hospital Putrajaya is an informative one and it is a really classy hospital. I get to visit the main lobi which looks sophisticated because the bus driver placed some of us at the wrong lobi. We are supposed to visit the Nuclear Medicine Department which has nothing to do with patients in ward. Throughout the visit, we get to see the real PET/CT scan which is used for diagnosis to detect cancer in the body and listen to the explanation on how cyclotron is used to generate the radiopharmaceutical product. But the unfortunate thing is we have to prepare a report after the visit.

I also did some good deeds by going to visit an old folks home in Cheras Baru. The transport fee to get there is quite expensive. I teamed up with Lay Sin to ask some of the old folks regarding their health and the types of medication they take. We talked to a friendly 76 years old man who are really healthy and do not need to take any medication. It's really rare this day and i'm quite impressed by how healthy and young he looks. Right now, what's bugging me is we have to prepare an approximately 10 pages of report... (Haiz, looks like i have to squueze my brain to drag it until 10 pagaes.....)

To celebrate his birthday, we went to sing K at Green Box Sg Wang, all in formal clothes as we had a visit to Hospital Putrajaya earlier that morning. It's my first time went to sing K and the buffet is my main target that day:D Yup, i did eat a lot, finally ending up looking like a 3 months pregnant woman, but i still enjoy a lot and i sang a few songs after being forced by my mama and aunty Clara(i think my voice sucks but whatever la, just having fun there). But most of the time it's the bday boy who is grabbing the mike as he sang countless of his favourite S.H.E songs.

OMO!!!!! SS501 IS COMING TO KL ON 3 SEPTEMBER 2009!!!!!!!!

My sis told me this news the other day, SS501 has come to Gayana Resort (at my beloved hometown Sabah, i'm so proud.....) for two days to shoot MV for their second album..... Before they went back to Korea, they transit in KL for a few hours to meet their fans and also held a press conference at the One World Hotel.

Thus, me, aunty Clara (biggest fan of all), Fiona, Carolma, Mr.Terev, Suzanne, Mei Chen and Ngik Ling went all the way from KL to One Utama just to see the famous Korean boyband. We were so excited to meet our oppa (except Mr Terev who kept calling him KIM) and i can't wait to meet Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Hyung Jun face to face (oppas, saraengheyo....). So, after our AF lab finished at 4pm , me and aunty Clara being in the same group rushed with Mr. Terev to One Utama, the others have went there because their lab finished early (damn the lab assistant who don't know how to operate the machine.....). The overall journey took us about 2 hours after changing all kinds of public transports including monorail, LRT and taxi.

When we reached there, i'm so amazed by the throng of crowd who were queueing at the parking lot outside One World Hotel. Apparently, we need to buy their album which cost RM 70 as entrance fee in order to meet our oppa.. I heard that there are only 1000 album to be sold, means only the lucky 1000 people can get to meet them. My sis kept forcing me to buy the album to get their sign but when we reached there, all the albums were sold out. Not only that, there's also another catch, only one member of SS501 will sign on the album... I was like WTH, i came all the way from KL and there's no chance for me to even see their hair, let alone their face. This proved the proportional equation that Fiona told us, the higher the expectation, the higher the dissapointment :(... poor Aunty Clara....

Thus, to overcome the dissapointment, we went inside One Utama Mall and have our dinner at Ajisen Ramen. Thank God, the food is good!!!! Aunty Clara did not gave up and after finished her food, she and her friends went to the hotel again to catch any glimpse of our oppa, but sadly they were gone.....

After that, we went shopping in One Utama Mall. This is my first time coming to One Utama and it's another mall with lots of branded shop, much branded than KLCC (i think....) Any brand you know you just name it and it's there. There's one special shop here named Craft's Haven which sell all kinds of paints and coloured papers, so you can DIY your own artwork.. We spend quite some time here admiring the DIY artwork and Fiona bought some coloured papers to make a bday card for Ah Hang (so touching...hehe...)

Then, me, Carolma, Mr. Terev and Fiona went to watch the premiere of Final Destination 4 at 9.30pm...

I've been wanting to watch the movie ever since i heard about it but I got hit by another dissapointment. The movie is so fake and i don't like the way how the main actor get the premonition of who is going to die next. Then there's not much variety on how they die, most of them have their organs and blood splitting out... Seriouly Final Destination 3 is better than this. The movie took 1 and a half hour and when we finished watching it, it's already 11pm. This is the latest i ever went out together with my friends. When we reached home, it's already 12pm but it's still fun because i get to explore new places^.^......

Btw, I'm officially broke now after going to so many places in a week....wuwu.....

WEEKEND ESCAPE WITH VANN

I've been longing to blog about this outing last weekend, but it's been postponed as I'm now back to my busy life with lab, visits, PBL etc…… Sigh*…

After the exam had finished, I decided to "migrate" to my best buddy Vannessa's house at Vistana for a weekend escape. It's 30 August on Sunday and the next day is National Day… yippee… So, Monday is holiday and it's like a HONEYMOON for me as we enjoy girly shopping and outing together^.^…..

On sunday, I went to her place with the annual KLCC book fair in my mind.. (I sound like a bookworm, still searching for books even after exam….). So we hang out in KLCC on that day. I seldom went to KLCC and the only time I went there is when I brought my family for a trip in KL, the sad thing is me and my sis just get to read and admire the branded shop's label in KLCC… After a quick lunch at Subway (my first try and it's just OK), we went to catch a movie because it's been a while since the last time I went to cinema due to exam… I managed to persuade the timid Vannessa to watch the horror movie ORPHAN with me, and the poor girl kept closing her eyes and squirming in her seat most of the time… (she blame me after the movie….)

Overall, I will give FIVE STAR RATING to the movie Orphan. The story is about Kate who had loss an unborn child due to her miscarriage. Thus, to overcome her sadness, Kate and her husband John decided to adopt another child, named Esther. At the local orphanage, both John and Kate find themselves strangely drawn to a young girl named Esther. Almost as soon as they welcome Esther into their home, however, an alarming series of events begins to unfold, leading Kate to believe that there's something wrong with Esther. Although the story is quite draggy at the beginning, but there's a twist at the end that nobody would ever expect and all questions about Esther will be answered at the end. IT IS A GREAT MOVIE THAT CAN NEVER BE MISSED!!!!

After the movie, we went to the book fair which is organized at the other side of the building--the KLCC convention center after asking around for direction. The entry itself cost us RM2 and we were so amazed by how cheap the books are compared to the original price. There were so many bargains and I bought 2 books which cost me around RM57… The horror movie had inspired me to buy the novel "THE THIRTEENTH TALE" which I believed has been made into a major motion picture and another novel by Cecelia Ahern " WHERE RAINBOW ENDS".. I had a tough time deciding on which books to buy as I'm so into novel that have been made into motion picture such as Confession of A Shopaholic, My sister's Keeper and Slumdog Millionaire but i end up not buying them. (wish I'm rich…… ) Vannessa is such a motivation freak as all the books that she bought teaches her how to have a good life, how to make money and so on… Unbelievably we spend the whole night in the book fair without shopping….

After that, we went back to her place and we stayed up watching the movie "Ghost of Girlfriend Past" until midnight because we wanted to see firework, but sadly no fireworks display for National Day this year….

The next morning, we went to Times Square for SHOPPING!!!! But first, we went to eat pork at BBQ Plaza and it's like a heaven for us. We order the Supreme Pork set consist of pork, bacon, prawns, squid and meat ready for us to grill with side dishes Mushroom Fishcake and Fried Squid. We are so satisfied with the yummy and delicious food!!!!!!!!!

After food, we were so lazy to move but our shopping mission must be carried on… I never expect I'll buy 2 pairs of shoes on the same day.…. Guess I'm a big fan of shoes as we went into almost every shoes shop there, causing me to buy my second pair of the "Gladiator" shoes.. No any new clothes for me as I don't suits all those "LaLa" wear which can be found everywhere in Times Square..

Then we went back home and we watched another movie "Wanted" that night. Seriously, the movie is so fake although it's action-packed and we kept commenting that Esther is 10 times better than the movie…. Haha…. We like the movie Orphan so much….

The next day, I went directly to fac for my class, so sad i have to go back to my normal stressful life again. That's the end of my weekend and I'm having soooooo much fun^.^……….

I live like HELL this week...... Damn it......I hate the very very packed schedule from 8am-5pm... Everyday is so tired... And to worsen it is the non-stop assignments that keep coming and coming.... .I'm so stressed up trying to find information for the med chem assignment which is so hard to find online... Not to mention having to study for PBL next friday... damn it.... why can't the lecturer give us a break with the already so fully packed schedule..... and the exam is coming nearer and nearer..... so scared of it..... There is always so many things to do and yet, so little time for eveything....

wu~~~~~~ The holiday finally comes to an end, and seriously i'm still not ready to face Monday. Thinking back, i'm not satisfied with this holiday, because i'm supposed to go back Sabah (again, homesick is attacking me) instead of "berkulat" here in Setapak. Not only that, the lazy worms are starting to creep all over my body, i didn't study much this holiday.... wuwu.... how am i going to sit for exam....

WHAT I DO DURING MY QUARANTINE WEEK

I'm still in my quarantine holiday and i'm damn bored... I wish i can go back home... *sigh*.... So to fulfill my time, i had finished watching Prison Break Season 4 :).... I started watching season 1 (after being influenced by my bro) in first year together with my sabahan buddies -Vann, Ray and Pidil... It's a sweet memory back then because i used to go to their room and have movie nites together... (miss the time we spend together.... hehe).

Prison Break is an amazing drama series full of suspense and action, you can never guess what the main actor --Michael Scofield is up to with his brilliant mind and what's going to happen next.. Each time he planned an escape, some obstacles will come in his way and it always makes me nervous and eager to chase the next episode. It's sad having to depart from the series and i actually cried when Michael Scofield die in the end... wuwu..... Wentworth Miller is such a hunk and i die for his smoking green eyes... He has the kind of mysterious + genius look which can melt anyone's heart xD....... He is actually the guy who is featured in Mariah Carey's song- We Belong Together MTV....

I'm not actually the kind of girl who likes to paint my finger, but i bought it just to get Lee Min Ho oppa's file folder... hehe... Luckily i get the file with Lee Min Ho smiling which i totally loooovee....

After that, we went to catch the movie The Proposal which is damn funny.....

The story is about Margaret Tate (played by sandra Bullock) who is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company. After learning that her visa has expired and she would be deported back to Canada, she forces Andrew Paxton (played by Ryan Reynold), her assistant to marry her, with the condition that he will be promoted to the position of editor and his manuscript be published. In order to convince the government and her boss that they are actually a couple, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Sitka, Alaska (uuu... i love the place) where they will be attending the 90th birthday party of Andrew's grandmother. She was later shocked to found out that Andrew is actually rich and his family owns most of the business in Sitka (They are just like the Kennedys in Alaska)...Funny stuff starts to happen and you definitely need to watch it to know the ending....

SWINE FLU ATTACK IN UKM

We received a shocking news while attending class this morning --SWINE FLU IS ATTACKING UKM!!!!omo At about 10am, Prof Jamia came to our class to announce that H1N1 infection has occured in UKM and there are 13 students (the unlucky 13) from pharmacy course who are being infected and 50 more students being suspected of the dangerous virus infection. Apparently, swine flu has become pandemic in UKM and we are told to quarantine ourselves for one week. This means one thing for all of us---1 WEEK OF HOLIDAY.. so I tried to check for any cheap tickets but sadly, the fees to go back and return will cost me RM 500, so my dream of going back Sabah after homesick is shattered.. (i envy Suzanne who can go back..... help me kirim salam to Sabah...huhu). I don't know whether i should feel happy about it or not, thinking about the suffer of having to replace all those missed classes later, my life is going to be office hour from 8am-5pm in the future.. lol...... (i hate life like this).

The most unfortunate people are those living in KTSN. They are "really really" being quarantined in the hostel, unlike us who are are told to home quarantine ourselves but still roaming around in Setapak like nothing happened. I personally quite worried because i went to Hari Interaksi Farmasi last saturday in KTSN and had mixed around with so many people there, so any signs of discomfort my parents asked me to go straight to the hospital. (lucky those people who escape hari interaksi, this is so unfair....but what can i said, everything happens for a good reason...lol)

Anyway, i'm still going out this Thursday to watch the Proposal after waiting for the movie for sooooo long, and also to buy my oppa, Lee Min Ho file folder.....hehe.... Guess i'm not that obedient afterall=p....

Yesterday was our pharmacy course important JUDGEMENT NIGHT...Finally get to see my direct junior from Sabah. It's quite dissapointed because she couldn't recognised me but i don't blame her.... Hopefully my little buddy will take her so that i got the chance to talk to her.... But overall the Judgement night is quite boring coz everybody just likes to sing and it's not that fun....

Homesick is attacking me this few days, missed my lil sis and big bro... guess it's all because i have spend so much time going crazy with them... It can also be from the stress that i feel as the subjects are quite tough, with all those CVS and CNS and i just don't really have the mood to study after such a long break... haiz.... Insomnia also attack me at night, maybe because i have not adjust my body from my previously really late night sleep (about 2am) and late wake up for 2 months..... *Fingers crossed* that i can find back my motivation to study and passed through this sem happily.... Wish me luck:)

BATTLE OF TRANSFORMER & MY LUCKY DAY

As Wednesday evening "beriadah" slot became part of our curriculum in the schedule, (i'm a good student and i won't skip class... hehe..) i headed out with my friends to Times Square. Our first stop is lunch at Gasoline where we enjoy the food and drinks there^.^

After having our stomach filled, my next mission is to go watch TRANSFORMER 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN ..... It's an awesome movie and we go ga-ga when the autabots start transforming (especially wei wei who can't stop waaaaaaa-ing all the time...funny). I just want to scream it's so coooooool....... My eyes were glued to the screen the whole time and i don't dare to blink too much coz the battle scene happenned so fast and i don't want to miss any part. Shia Lebouef is handsome but i like Optimus Prime more..... It's so touching that he died just to protect Sam. I feel like want to watch it the second time, Fiona and Suzanne joined us that day just to watch it for the second time. I definitely will go watch the sequel, Transformer 3, heard that it's going to be released in 2012..

After the movie, we met my other friends who go watch Ice Age 3 and went to buy the D-Link wireless system at Low Yatt. (thanx to that, i'm now sitting comfortably on my bed blogging the whole thing this morning. ^.^).

Then, we departed and together with Carolyn and Terev, we go to Sg. Wang to see the Astro Star Quest Top 5 contestants. Actually i don't have any knowledge of any of the contestants, but due to Carolyn continuous persuation (she told me there are leng-zai~~)and also because i don't want to go home early, i followed them there. It turns out i won't regret this outing because all the contestants can sing well and i get to see leng-zai... hehe... It's our lucky day coz we get 10 free tickets to go watch the final at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil on 25th July, all thanks to Terev good strategic of squeezing among the crowd to be in front. I even go up stage to shook hand with them and get their autographs. Seriously this is the best day in my life and i never done this before, feels like want to scream the second time........xD

SuJu &FIRST DAY AT CLASS

I saw this video of Super Junior (Dong Hae and Si Won) featuring in Aeriel Lin's new MV in my sis blog.... I was like OMG, she's so lucky to be able to act with the 2 handsome guy, i'm so jealous...... I can't believe they came all the way from Korea just to act in that MV, i don't even like the song (i'm speaking like a jealous woman), just watch the MV for the sake of SuJu. The story line is Aeriel Lin and Si Won (he's hot!!!) are a couple before this, then they break up for a reason. After the break up, Aeriel Lin met Dong Hae and fell in love with him(he's so cute ^.^ and his chinese is so funny) . One day, Si Won came to find his long lost love and found that Dong Hae (his best buddy) is with Aeriel. Such a sad ending for Si Won....

Anyway, today is my first day at school and our class starts at 10am. Our classroom is at the highest floor, the fifth floor (feels like we are getting much more important..hehe).The classroom had changed a lot, it's much newer and cleaner after renovation. Prof Jamia even came to our class to make sure we are happy with the classroom. Nothing much happened today, just Dr. Hesham and Dr. Haliza came to make some introduction and brief us about our course. In the schedule, each lecturer will come in for 1 hour session, but each lecturer only brief for 30 minutes, so we basically came for 1 hour class.... I even wake up at 8am..... so wu liao... The lecturer have set every wednesday in the schedule to have class until afternoon, she said it's for us to have time "beriadah" and not just study wo..... Then we started to call wednesday our movie day or shopping day, i think Sg. Wang and Times Square will be packed with pharmacy students every wednesday after this...

This week is so free, we only have class until afternoon. So i'm planning to go out, want to go Low Yatt to buy mousepad (really need it for my pet to race in stadium, can't use the touchpad coz it's not sensitive enough) and also internet cable (gonna need it to check the facebook and play with my pet at my desk...) if my housemates don't planned to change the system in my house into wireless. I also planned to catch some movies, i want to watch Transformer 2 (though i'm not a big fan of robots, i don't even watch Transformer 1 but i'm tempted by my friends who have blog about how cool is the movie) but it looks like i can't find anyone to watch it with me since everyone has watch it before coming back T_T....

It's weird of me to start playing this game 3 days before i go back kl, quite regret it coz i have 2 months of holiday and i gave up on playing the facebook before due to my laziness to explore the complicated system (i'm lazy to learn new things and i'm still clicking around ....sigh) . Thanks to my cousin who show me around and, remembering my frenz who ask me to join the pet society, so here i am having a pet of my own.^.^

Luv Lychee is pink colour and i think i'm quite girlie coz i dressed her up in kimono and is all pink. Pity there is no hanbok sold, if not i want Lychee to become a korean.. So, Lychee is a Japanese girl now and something quite embarassing happened, i forgot to change Lychee's gender into a female and before this i dressed him up as a girl, Papaya commented that he is gay (sweat.....)

NEW YEAR NEW RESOLUTION

GOSH time flies past and my two months holiday is almost over... 5 JULY is coming nearer and nearer.... AAAARRRRRHHHHH, seriously i'm not ready to go back, not after lazing around like a queen and the joy of waking up naturally in my home sweet home... 12 more days counting from today:(....

I'm going to be THIRD YEAR this sem. This means tougher life ahead as the subjects are going to be more difficult and not forgetting, busy life with reponsibilities to plan for chinese and malay course night and Awareness Programme (i hate hectic life....) I still remember when i first enter the uni, i looked up to those 3rd year and 4th year seniors as being ready to step out to the society to work. They just have the mature look which make us look so young and innocent back then. I'm so eager to see the new freshmen look and see if there are any Sabahan coming to UKM this year...hehe... We are slowly becoming the rare and nearly 'extinct' species nowaday....

Being in third year means i need new resolution to always remind me of what i need to achieve. So here they are, the TOP 5 RESOLUTION for time being....

1. Study is always my top priority (but i tend to have 三分钟热度and slack off from time to time... sigh)
2.Think positive and try not to stress up myself (really afraid i'm going to be moody and depressed with the stressful life-hopefully history won't repeat itself)
3.Do something else beside study, but minimally( just trying to have fun and enjoying my life at the same time)
4. Build up my confidence
5. Try to become more mature and friendly a bit (hope my little grandbuddy won't feel i'm difficult to approached)

Going through two years in UKM, i'm just glad to have know such great friends--the 7 fairies xD.. I'm lucky to have met my twin sister--the other Carolyn and we seldom apart. Funny as i've met her and spoke to her on the first day of registration in UKM Bangi, discovered that she's my coursemate, becoming roomate during MMM in UKM Bangi, becoming roomate again in KTSN and roomate in my new home until now.. We even go to class and go back home together everyday.. Literally, we are the unseparable Carolyns... hehe.... So, she's just like my big sister who guide me- she always think ahead and worry about things in the future. I'm happy that we work hard together. Hopefully our friendship last forever:) xoxo

I'm so obsessed with the song 'Again and Again" by 2PM recently:p..

My sis show me this video of a show called STAR KING which is really funny. The special guests include Super Junior (Eun Hyuk, Kangin, Ye Sung and Sung Min), 2PM (Nick Khun), the girls from After School and another one i do not recognize...This video feature a children group performing the dance of 'Again and again' and 'sorry sorry'. I love this particular child who is so cute^.^.... He is so expressive in his every move and can even imitate an artist. My sis said he's very ugly with his front teeth missing but i think that makes him so adorable^.^. When Kangin asks them the most important question, who they like the most between the 2 groups, he actually come out with the answer 'SU-PM'' ... so creative...... haha....

STAR GAZING AGAIN

Hong Kong Super Star come again to One Borneo.... This time it's Myolie Wu, Sonija Kwok, Steven Ma, Raymond Cho coming. They come on 19 and 20th June but i only go to the 20th June's performance. Beside special guests from Hong Kong, there are also appearance from our own local artists such as 王明丽 , 朱浩仁 , Debbie, Danny Boy。

This time it's not that crowded compared to the last time when i went to watch Jolin. I get a clear view of the star and Raymond Cho is quite funny and handsome, Steven Ma is playful, Sonija Kwok is pretty and Myolie Wu is cute like a barbie doll. My sister commented that the local artist performance is better than the Hong Kong star. Perhaps it's because the local artist sang better song while the Hong Kong star just play games and sang a few songs.

BACK TO MY OLD LIFE

I'm officially back to my boring and mundane life again....

I finally found some time to blog about my outing to see JOLIN last friday.... (actually i've been too lazy to blog about it). Sadly to say, i failed my mission to take any good pic:(...We have difficulties in finding a good spot to see the stage. Every floor is so full of people and the good place, either in front of the stage or the front of every floor need tickets... That's the power of JOLIN...The only place that's free is beside the stage:( She sang 4 songs and here are the videos that i found from youtube.... Sorry to dissapoint u all.... mianhae....

Enough with the disapointment.... I just watched the MTV Movie Awards 2009 and the biggest winner is TWILIGHT!!!!! The movie won an astounding 5 awards. As long as TWILIGHT is one of the nominee, other movies don't have a chance whatsoever.... The truth is, when i watched the movie, i thought it's just OK.... The main motivation for me to watch TWILIGHT is when my friends told me the actor is so handsome.. Yes, she's right and ROBERT PATTINSON is damn HOT ^.^.... I think he must have put a spell on every girls in the world because his fans are just crazy. I've read an article about a girl who is seeking advice in Reader Digest because she is so obsessed with the character Edward Cullen in the movie.

I've recently found out that the drama PRISON BREAK that i have is not complete. The complete version has 24 episodes and i just have 16 episodes. I discovered it when i watched an episode in 8TV and realized that i haven't watched it b4. Anyone who has the complete version please kindly share it with me^.^... I'll be really grateful......Aligato gozaimas.....

I EARN WHAT I LEARNED

BEEN caught with flu this few days and i hate it*.*...my head feel so heavy....... But the good news is i can practice self-medication now... hehe.... I've been doing attachment recently, and it's already the 4th day. I plan to quit soon because I'm not getting paid by the pharmacy, so i'm basically work for NOTHING, just going there to gain some experience...Tat's why i said i earn what i learned. It's quite difficult because i have no income (still depending on the JPA money), then i have to spend everyday for my lunch which is more expensive compared to Setapak.

My working hour is from 8am-5.30pm. I'm so lazy waking up early in the morning after my night owl life for so long. My flu is probably coming from not getting enough of sleep every day, and i have dark circles around my eyes... ( seriously it's not exam time, why did this happen in holiday????). Not only that, doing attachment in a pharmacy can sometimes be boring because everybody is so busy with their work and i have nothing to do there, except just learning about the medicine.. The pharmacist did teach me some but I have to learn myself when they are so busy, and the pharmacist want to test me how much i have learned b4 i leave!!!!!! That's quite a pressure for me because i think my brain has started to slow down in this holiday and i have forgotten some of the theories that i learned before....

I learned mostly cough and cold medicine in the pharmacy, including antacids and those medicines for the GIT and many more....The difficult part is there are so many brands for the same medicines, and the customers always asking for the brand name. I'm like going blank when heard all those names, really do not have a clue of what they want, so i always have to refer it back to the pharmacist or the shop assistants. They have been working for more than 3 years and are so well-trained, even know how to promote supplements to the customers to boost business. They know so much about the medicines, sometimes i learned from them too, the only difference is they don't have a certificate, if not they can also be pharmacist... Really thank them for willing to teach me and being so friendly^.^

I also learned that it's not easy to open a pharmacy and doing business. The pharmacist who also happens to be the manager is always so busy with the ordering of medicines from many different company. Not forgetting competition from other pharmacy and she knows how to maintain her customers. She is like a superwoman...... I don't know if i can cope with all those pressure, so i guess opening a community pharmacy is just not my thing, gonna work with the government hospital after graduating...

Today is actually my day off and i'm going to watch JOLIN's performance at One Borneo tonight^.^ Hopefully i can catch some nice pictures as i have high expectation frm my sis who couldn't go because she's going camping and some of my frenz.. Wish me luck XP....

KOTOBIAN TADAU KAAMATAN

Me with the paddy... Happy harvesting^.^...

EVERY 30 and 31th May are the Kaamatan Festival in Sabah. It is an annual event in the cultural life of Kadazan Dusun to celebrate the paddy harvesting period . Part of me is Kadazan (1/4 of kadazan blood to be exact XD...) since my mom is a sino-kadazan . The truth is, we never enjoy the Kaamatan Festival (except my mom....) in previous years, but don't know why, my sis and I are so enthusiastic about the Kaamatan Festival this year, even go to the Hongkod Koisaan KDCA (where all the celebration occur) for 2 days in a row.. We even "squueze" with other people just to get into the hall to get a glimpse of the cultural dances and performances there.

Besides watching performances, we also enjoy visiting to different Rumah Panjang around KDCA since we seldom come here (We come here only during the festival..). There are so many different types of rumah panjang such as Rumah Murut, Rumah Rungus, Walai Bisaya etc due to various ethnic groups in Sabah.

When we visit the Rumah Murut, we are just in time to see the Magunatip dance which i like a lot^.^. It involves two people hitting bamboo poles on the ground and the dancers must be quick enough to not get their feet caught by the bamboo. As the dance continues, the banging of the bamboo becomes faster and harder, and i'm just thrilled by the clashing sound of the bamboo and the quickness of feet by the dancers....

In other Rumah Panjang such as Rumah Rungus, many handicrafts including beads, necklaces and key chains are being sold there. We also don't lose any opportunity to take pictures with the girls from Rungus ethnic there.... XD

The climax of the festival is the selection of the Unduk Ngadau which symbolizes Huminodun or Harvest Festival Queen (it's like a beauty contest...) from various districts in Sabah. We have a tough time entering the hall because everybody want to squeeze their way into the hall. The police guarding the door will only allow 5 people to get in at a time, and thus everybody tend to push around*_*.We just watch for a while because we are lazy to watch the introduction of all the contestants, but they are all real beauty.

Finally, i would like to wish Ray, Pdil and Walter "Happy Kaamatan Festival" and to Ebson "Selamat Hari Gawai". ^.^....

GIRLS DAY OUT

TODAY has been a girls day out for me and my sis.... Her school holidays haven't started yet and it's her exam week, but because she didn't take physic, so she did not have to sit for exam today. Thus, it's my turn to influence her to go SHOPPING with me..... hehe..... (i'm such a bad sis, she still has 2 papers on friday but just objectives....).

We went to watch the movie NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2.... We have planned to watch it since i came back but because it's her exam week, so the plan has been postponed until now. In the first sequel of Night At The Museum, Larry Daley (played by Ben Stiller) is a night guard at the Museum of Natural History. He discovered that every exhibits in the museum will come to life when the sun comes down and had a magical night at the museum.

In the second sequel, Larry Daley had become a succesful inventor with a company selling his new creation "Glow-in-the dark Torchlight" (it's actually quite brilliant...). One day, he discovered that some of his 'friends' in the museum have been deemed out-of-date and are packed into crates, waiting to be shipped to the archives of the Smithsonian. So the new adventures begin in the archives of Smithsonian when Dexter, the rare Capuchin monkey stole the magical stone tablet which awakens the exhibits to life.

This brings back the Egyptian ruler, Kahmunrah (played by Steve Coogan) who worked together with the history most infamous character, namely Ivan the Terrible (i did some history research and found that he is an iron-fisted autocratic ruler who wage wars to expand the Russian Empire in 1533), Napolean Bonaparte ( the power hungry Emperor of France in 1804 who conquer most of Europe) and Al Capone (the most infamous gangster in America a.k.a Scarface who found his fame as head of Chicago crime syndicate and became the main target of FBI at that time) to take over the museum, as they unleashed the Army Of Underworld. Together with Amelia Earlhart (the first woman pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean -played by Amy Adams), they must stop the enemies and restore order before dawn cracks.

There are some parts of the movie which are really HILARIOUS...... I like Kahmunrah who is quite funny because he has a short tongue and his pronounciation is very funny. He likes to say 'I'VE COMEBACK TO LIFE' in powerful voice again and again but there is so little armies, so it's like 'the crows had fly passed him' -which is sooo not convincing...LOL.... Larry just give him the response:" ya, ya i get it..... welcome back.....I like the part when he said the Darth Vader's breathing is very noisy and he don't want a follower who has asthma, and commenting on his cape as going to watch the opera XD..... Then there was three cupids who look like The Jonas Brothers, they sang beautiful songs such as Love Bug (love their voices and they are so cute..). Overall, we did enjoy the movie especially the characters in the movie, they even make Al Capone looks monochromatic or black and white just like in the early TV, which looks real......

After that, we went shopping together. I bought 2 formal shirts and 2 pants because i'm going to start doing my attachment (thanks to my bro's friend who introduce the pharmacy to me) on Friday and i need to wear formally but all my formal clothes are in KL. I spent about RM 100 on clothes and food.... but it's my sister who had the greatest 'achievement'...... She bought the Big Bang Concert Global Tour and Big Bang Second Live Concert which cost her RM 65, and the quality of the video is good too......^.^

I'M BECOMING A KOREAN FAN!!!

SINCE i came back home from KL, my sis who happens to be a korean fanatic had influenced me with the korean wave. Now i only listen to korean songs (the BOF soundtracks are so NICE!!!! I listen to it over and over again^.^....) and watch KBS channel more often (sadly the last episode of BOF is last week.....), i also started to watch the Music Banks on KBS channel to become up-dated with new korean songs...

My current fanatics are Super Junior and DBSK. SUPER JUNIOR HAS COMEBACK!!!!!!! Their songs are nicer and they have grown up a lot. They look mature and the dance move in their MV are so cool, also like their dressing, not the kind of boyish look anymore..... However, i'm going to give up on remembering all their names, coz it's 13 of them..... what an incredible amount of people in a group!!!!!

The first song that i listen to is SORRY SORRY. The choreography in the MV is so PERFECT!!!! I watch the MV over and over again because it is supercool. The funny part is i learned that one of the member of Super Junior, that is Kim Hee Chul has revealed that his part in the song is only 4 seconds long after dividing the parts among 13 members (so check out for him when watching the video XD), the manager then decided to give him the ending pose of the song.

THIS FEW WEEKS i have been crazy all over the korean drama " BOYS OVER FLOWER"..... The actors are so HOT and HANDSOME!!!!!!!!!! I started watching it during my study week in KBS channel, all 'thanks' to my younger sis who already finish watching it and kept promoting the drama to me (i'm so easily influenced...... LOL), so with guilty feeling i watch 2 episodes on sunday (thank god it's not showing everyday, if not all my exam papers will only have BOF answers)..... During my trip to Penang, i got the chance to buy the pirated disc of BOF^.^.......yeah!!!!!

The character that i like the most is Gu Jun Pyo( played by LEE MIN HO)...... At first he is so arrogant, thinking that he is the richest and most handsome guy in Shinwa school, but as he falls in love with Jan Di (played by GU HYE SUN- she is so cute and pretty), he starts to become so sweet......

like it when he has straight hair.....

He also stars in the Dunkin Donut and the 2X Cass Beer Commercial......

The next character that i like is Joo Ji Hoo (played by KIM HYUN JOONG)... He always help Jan Di when she has any problem, wish he can be with her at the end because they look so matching....

He is the leader of a group called SS501.... i'm so surprise he can actually dance and my sis kept finding youtube video of him dancing in the past.....we discover the wild side of him, totally different from his Ji Hoo character....

The cutest actor is Yi Jung (played by KIM BUM)... His dimple make him so cute when he smiles:)........

Not forgetting Woo Bin (played by KIM JOON) who is quite funny in the drama because he always act a little bit hip-hop, he likes to say YO! JUN PYO etc.... my sis and i like to repeat his words coz its quite funny:D..........(can't find any of his pic in the drama)

He is the leader of a group called T-Max who sang a lot of the OST in the BOF drama...... particularly like this song especially the ballad version.......

Also like this song by Kim Joon feat Kim Jo Han (he raps in it^.^....) It's the song of Wu Bin's story after 5 years in which he found a gf .... (can watch the story of every characters after 5 years in Mysoju:)

HIHI........... new blogger here...... actually i'm just finding things 2 do, coz now is my 2 month uni holiday and i'm damn boring at home....... but come to think abt it, this is also my chance of practicing my writing skill since english exam in matriculation.( that's alrd 2 years ago!!!). Thus, blogging become my new passion to express all my thought....

Before my holiday arrive (that is during my exam week where i suffer a lot *-*), i kept planning what i'm gonna do, such as to watch the korean drama BOYS OVER FLOWER (i'm still crazy about it now^.^, gonna talk about it in the next post.... ), just 'lazy out' at home, cutting my hair (already cut it due to extremely hot weather in kk... ^-^), friends gathering etc.......I'm becoming a night owl at home, sleeping at 2am and waking up at 11am everyday.. all 'thanks' to my brother who influence me to watch the TVB drama D.I.E at 1am although i have already watch it b4......

But now 2 weeks have passed since the first day of my holiday and, i'm getting quite bored with my 'couch potato' life at home... Besides watching tv, i also download and play many trial games, especially adventure games that are challenging as a way to pass my time.... I must have gain a few pounds because i eat non-stop, even searching for snack at midnight which i normally don't do in Setapak.*.* ( i think this might be caused by stress of having nothing to do at home..LOL)

I try to find any pharmacy who is interested in hiring me as an assistant.... but SADLY, nobody wants a part-time worker or the place is just far from my home, so i'm basically just giving up of doing attachment now......

I still have 1 month of holiday to go and i'm tired of all the 'DRAMA' in my home..... i'm gonna die of boredom!!!!! SOMEONE PLZ WHIZ ME AWAY......aaaaaahhhhhhh........
